The driving license will be free from now on
Gandhinagar: Citizens have to resort to repeated threats to get a driver's license and go through the process. Now the transportation process in the state will be easy and the Department of Transportation has made a big decision for the services available to the citizens, as part of which the process of e-payment of driving licenses across the state will be provided free of cost.
According to more details, the transaction of the driving license across the state will be given free of charge, the decision has been made by the Department of Transportation. At the beginning of the e-payment process of the driving license was made from Patan RTO. After its extensive success in Patan, this facility has now been started in 32 districts, including Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot.
All the work related to licensing, including appointment-examination, document uploading, test-stroke, smart card, has been reported to be complete online. Since almost all the licensing related activities have been done online, citizens should not be threatened with office.
